In the 1960s, Biel was considered the city of the future. On the occasion of the founding of the Votum watch brand in 1962, the manufactory surprised the public with the release of an extraordinary watch.

Inspired by postmodern design, the Ref. 10104 model was created with its unmistakable, characteristic diagonal lines. At the same time, the replica of this watch is reminiscent of the congress centre built between 1961 and 1966 and pays tribute to Max Schlup, the architect of this Biel cultural property, as well as to Biel as a city of innovation and progress.
